Account information: Email address provided through Firebase Authentication when you create an account.
Profile information: Display name, username (handle), bio, location, avatar image, and social media links you choose to provide.
Uploaded content: Audio files (mp3, wav, m4a, aac) that you import or upload to your vault.
Collaboration data: Invitations, collaborator lists, and permissions you set for shared tracks.
Comments: Feedback comments left on shared track links and timestamp-based comments between collaborators.
Catalogue links: Music platform URLs you add to your catalogue (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.).
Local app data: Folders, tracks, lyrics, and preferences stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage.

How We Use Your Data

To provide core app functionality: storing and playing your tracks, managing your library, and syncing data across devices.
To enable collaboration: sharing tracks with collaborators you invite, and displaying feedback on shared links.
To power your public profile and catalogue pages when you choose to share them.
To facilitate Vault Transfer file sharing via generated download links.

Storage & Security

Your uploaded audio files are stored using Firebase Storage. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Sharing

Your data is only shared with people you explicitly choose to collaborate with or via share links you generate. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Public profile pages are only visible if you create and share a public handle.

Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through Settings > Delete Account within the app, or by visiting the account deletion page. Upon deletion, your profile, uploaded files, collaboration data, and comments will be permanently removed.

Children's Privacy

Almost. is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
